Job Description

The candidate will provide support for Filenet environments on Unix and Intel based platforms, performing second / third level support and acting as a technical resource for infrastructure and application projects, as well as creating and maintaining scripts to enhance our patching, build, and monitoring processes.

Accountabilities :

  • Work with project teams to implement content management infrastructure services and act as a SME for related technical infrastructure projects to ensure : Operation is within the framework of enterprise architecture and technology standards.
  • Systems are engineered to meet business service level expectations as well as adherence to corporate I.S. standards.

  • Day to day administration, configuration, and maintenance, including patching and code / content promotions.
  • Work with the team to drive efficiencies through automation and process improvements.
  • Provide level 2 / 3’ support for the Filenet and CMOD environment including evening and weekend on call support on a rotational basis.
  • Conduct problem management for technical problems and issues.
  • Qualifications and Competencies :

  • Degree or diploma in a related discipline (computer science) or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within IT environment
  • Significant experience with system products such as : IBM Filenet P8 (version 5.2.x to current), IBM Case Manager, IBM Content NavigatorIBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, IBM Datacap, IBM Content Manager on Demand (CMOD)
  • Familiarity with UNIX, Windows Server, LDAP, Active Directory
  • Familiar with the use of scripts for automation of operational procedures (eg. shell scripting, Jython, Powershell)
  • Knowledge of system management tools
  • Knowledge of security management principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
