Our Banking client in Toronto, ON is looking to hire a Technical Support for a 6-month contract role(with high chance of extension).
What you will be doing
Assisting with any kind of office moves (technology moves)
Processing e-waste in accordance to end point e-waste process (sanitize end points)
Providing support for any end point (mobile phones, iPads, etc.)
Interact with output devices as well (multifaction printers, etc.)
Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, typically of a lower complexity
May install software or perform hardware testing remotely
Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors
Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities
Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support
What you will need to succeed
Must Have Skills :
Technical Support - 3-5 years of professional experience
Familiar with general windows productive tools (Microsoft office) - 3-5 years of experience
Windows Command Prompt Skills- 3-5 years of hands on experience
Experience supporting Windows XP to 10 - 2+ years of hands on experience
Nice to Have
FI / Banking (within Canada)
Network + or A+ Certified
Spanish or French speaking
Previous big banks experience - highly preferred
