The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation including the management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures.
The goal of this role is to ensure the operation runs in an efficient manner which involves improving communication; increasing customer satisfaction and maintaining a clear line of site from operations to the customer.
Responsible for oversight of all operations : Freight, Returns, Receiving, Parcels, Transfers, Customer Pick-Up, Safety, Inventory Control and Transportation
Manages daily plan to exceed expectations for productivity and order accuracy
Oversees operational systems, processes and infrastructure through ERP with a passion for looking for opportunities of improvement and innovation while maintaining quality standards
Work with sales teams to help achieve daily and quarterly goals
Influence long term planning, project status reporting and change control processes
Oversee and report weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual metrics
Collaborate to ensure seamless business execution
Monitor and liaise with freight service providers and oversee the warehousing of all inventory
Maintain a clean, safe work environment & promote health & safety regulations.
Deploy assets and resources to achieve highest levels of customer service
Lead and develop a team to deliver unparalleled service

5+ years of experience as an Operations Specialist or similar.
Strong proficiency in operational software, SAP Business 1 in particular.
Project management and leadership experience with a strong attention to detail
Strong customer focus experience
Ability to analyze and improve operational processes.
Strong people management, collaboration and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
