Our Mercedes-Benz Oakville is looking for a Service Coordinator to join our amazing team!

  • Job Purpose

    As a front-line staff member, the Service Coordinator is an essential part of the Service department as a whole. Your success in this position is measured by your professional handling and assistance towards our guests this means you always leave them feeling that they chose the right place for their business needs and that they are in the best hands.

    This being said, the guest’s impression of you is critical because it often determines their impression of the entire dealership and sets the tone for their overall experience with us.

    Core Accountabilities

  • Promptly greet all guests that visit the dealership for Service / Sales / Parts and personally assist / direct them as needed
  • Ensure walkways and entrances are clean and clear of garbage, etc.
  • Collect guest information and direct them to the assigned Service Consultant.
  • Using an iPad you will assist Service Consultants checking in vehicles in for service when needed.
  • You will direct the lot staff and keep the drive thru clean of clutter.
  • You will ensure the flow of vehicle traffic is moving in the drive thru.
  • You will be expected to perform basic automotive tasks in the drive thru such as replacement of light bulbs, fluid top ups and tire pressure adjustments.
  • Booking service appointments for customers over the phone and in person.
  • Working with the Service Concierge / BDC to ensure we are prepared for all customers arriving to collect their vehicles during the day and in the evening.
  • Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service. Including written and verbal skills to communicate with all Service Consultants and Management
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to maintain filing systems and database
  • Professional appearance & friendly disposition
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience using dealership related software is preferred
