    Working with one of our top financial clients this role calls for a QA Manager / Payments who will be responsible for leading overall testing both Business Outcome Testing and Solution Testing and working packages for large-sized, high risk, strategic and regulatory projects or programs.

    The ideal candidate possesses expert knowledge of quality assurance, project delivery practices and standards across the project life-cycle.

    The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, relationship management, consensus building and influencing skills, time management, and analytical and conceptualization skills.

    The candidate must be an excellent team player.

    Responsibilities :

  • Identify and lead problem resolution for complex testing issues.
  • Contribute to communication and Change Management activities across multiple stakeholders.
  • Lead or manage the team's business, delivery and application knowledge sharing activities.
  • Lead development of a delivery approach and work plan, aligned with the project milestone dates and considering constraints, dependencies and strategic drivers.
  • Estimate, forecast and manage the Testing effort including cost, resource and timeline.
  • Lead or assist with resource recruitment.
  • Lead a team of Test Analysts by providing feedback, coaching and guidance on best practices.
  • Manage Business Outcome Testing and / or Solution Testing interdependencies among multiple work streams or projects.
  • Establish a process to ensure BOT and / or SOL deliverable quality and compliance to methodology and standards.
  • Engage, enable and lead stakeholders to final agreement and signoff of the deliverables.
  • Assess change requests and their impacts, checking for alignment to initiative objectives at all stages.
  • Communicate progress on Testing work packages.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating to senior management and partners where appropriate.
  • Work with technology to identify opportunities to leverage test automation.
  • Create the Overall Program Test Strategies and Project Test Plans.
  • Coordinate multiple business and technologies stakeholder groups and facilitate the creation and execution of Testing Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Scripts.
  • Work in conjunction with the Testing Centre of Excellence applying Test Lifecycle Optimization patterns.
  • Review all Test deliverables, progress and defects.
  • Work with technology and other teams to ensure test data and test environment readiness.
  • Assess if entry and exit criteria are met and make recommendations to remediate when they are not met.
  • Manage testing progress by tracking to the baseline plan. Lead re-planning effort as required.
  • Manage all testing issues and defects throughout the defect lifecycle to resolution.
  • Lead the effort to identify and update the regression package for future use.
  • Lead solution readiness assessment, application gap analysis and warranty support activities.
  • Desired Skill Set :

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related discipline.
  • 7 years of project / program Test Manager experience in the Financial Services Industry following Waterfall and / or Agile methodology.
  • 7 years of experience working with wholesale banking, payments, and Compliance Reporting testing.
  • Experience working with automation.
  • Experience working with testing, organization, and coordination.
  • Experience working with Confluence and Jira.
  • Experience working with Service Now.
  • Experience working as a Test Lead.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Project.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Accounting or Financial designation.
  • QA Certification.
  • Experience working with payment systems.
  • Mobile, test automation and technical testing experience.
  • People management experience.
