The S&OP Process Improvement Specialist is part of the Business Process Excellence team. The main focus will be to participate in the analysis and development of work processes and tools in collaboration with operational S&OP groups like Production Planning, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, as well as Supply Chain related sectors.

The tenant of that role will participate in the implementation of excellence standards and due diligence, which are reviewed regularly to ensure the changes and improvements perform over the long term.

In addition, the S&OP Process Improvement Specialist :

  • Analyzes various processes for the purpose of developing and implementing improvement projects intended to help achieve objectives;
  • Facilitates various interdepartmental meetings with a view toward determining new opportunities for improving the tracking of indicators and the rollout of action plans;
  • Participate in determining the areas requiring continuous improvement, and then managing as well as monitoring the processes being improved;
  • Maintain a technological watch;
  • Participate in other key activities as a member of the core team within the category

    Participate in some activities related to an S&OP system implementation

    Participate and support the deployment and improvement to the IBP process (integrated business planning)

    Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations & Production Management, or other relevant academic training;
  • 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in sales forecasting and demand planning, including proven experience in improving and implementing business processes and sales planning systems

    Experience in IBP, S&OP, demand and supply planning, MRP processes implementation and improvement

    Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry is required, experience in the dairy business is a plus

  • Knowledge of concepts, systems, and tools related to continuous improvement Holding a certification would be an asset;
  • Spoken and written French and English essential;
  • Excellent command of Office Suite, especially Excel - Oracle would be an asset;
  • APICS member, CPIM or CSCM designation an asset.
