Applications Developer Analyst - JD Edwards

The JDE Developer / Analyst will provide technical support and development of our JD Edwards ERP system. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify and resolve business and systems issues in order to maximize the value of information delivered to internal and external stakeholders.
In this role you will develop solutions utilizing Enterprise One case tools, create and maintain business functions, integrate coexistent applications with Enterprise One Development tools, and prepare conceptual design documents with technical specifications.
In addition, you will provide improvements aligned to deliver the right information at the right time to the right stakeholders.
Develop training programs and materials. Design specifications, Development, coordinate implementation with users and technical services teams to ensure system administration and system configuration conforms to existing controls and compliance requirement (System performance, Security and function).
Recommend opportunities for process improvements for all areas of the businessSupport the accounting and finance groups to reengineer processes to reduce redundancy and improve accuracy and efficiencyManage methodology & drive efficiencies in complex reporting processes.
Recommend chart of account design, automatic accounting instruction (AAI) to support various accounting transaction typesApply the best practices core financial module configurationPartner with leasing team to advise and promote the standardization of best practices for new tenant deals, existing tenant renewals, billing, sales tracking etc.
Advise and promote the standardization of best practices in all areas of operating a real estate asset as it relates to JD Edwards.
This would include but not be limited to managing tenant records; automated integrations with other systems and operational reportingDevelop training & reference materialsSchedule and organize training programsFacilitate & Conduct training sessions
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and reporting / data needs; evaluate requirements and develop and implement solutions.
write specifications; develop and maintain procedures.Coordinate user acceptance reviewConduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.
Work closely with system administers for user enrollment, configuration and system integrity analysis
5-10 years’ experience as a JD Edwards AnalystExperience in JD Edwards Version 9.0 and HigherJD Edwards Experience with the following Modules :
Core financial modules
AR / AP
RealEstate (Unit Master, Leasing Master etc.)
Expense Participation (EP)
Accounting and project management certification would be a strong assetAbility to communicate effectively with Senior ManagementProject management planningProcess design experiencePrior Commercial real estate experienceExperience with reporting tools such as Report Now and GSS (Spreadsheet Server)
