What is the opportunity?

The key objective of this role is to improve the effectiveness of business banking strategy implementation for and by executives and employees of Business Financial Services by leading the planning, development and execution of strategic content and communications planning.

Your efforts will drive support and engagement leading to the successful execution of strategies related to, for instance, industry sectors and client segments (e.

g. Healthcare, Ag, and Women Entrepreneurs)

What will you do?

  • Support the development of strategic initiatives and value propositions through translating into a clear and engaging story for key internal and external stakeholders (e.
  • g. sales, marketing, business lines, and customers).

  • Engage key stakeholders (e.g. strategy and product owners) in the development of key messages.
  • Plan, write and design content and thought leadership for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate content and distribution with Sales, Marketing, and Businesses to ensure alignment and consistency of approach and messaging.
  • Establish and operationalize principles and best practices to promote effective strategy implementation through consistent and efficient use of communication channels and effective stakeholder management.
  • Establish standards, tools, and templates for delivery of program materials and messages.
  • Use data and research to evaluate your content’s impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows real business results.
  • Support the collection of feedback and implementation of improvement opportunities.
  • Must have :

  • Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, marketing or equivalent
  • 4+ years of communications experience
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to turn content and projects around quickly
  • Ability to work within given time lines and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to compellingly communicate a brand’s story, and a design sensibility to envision how content will be presented or distributed in formats other than text-
  • based articles, such as infographics or multimedia presentations

  • Ability to work as part of a high performing team and prioritize effectively
