Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, the Long Hole Driller is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground mining equipment.
The Long Hole Driller operates a percussive drilling rig in an underground environment. Additional work may include loading explosives, installation and grouting of cables for support.
The Long Hole Driller must also prepare daily reports of all drilling activities. These reports reflect footage drilled, ground conditions, time spent performing other activities besides drilling, reporting supplies consumed, etc.

The ideal candidates will have minimally 2-3 years of proven work experience in an underground hard rock mine (previous experience Long Hole loading considered an asset)
