Menswear Stylist (Made-to-Measure / Luxury Retail Sales)
As a Menswear Stylist, you'll get the opportunity to live your passion for style, sales and developing lasting customer relationships.
You will act as a brand ambassador and educator for MADE, by developing and sharing your expertise on personal styling, garment fit and construction, and customer service.
You'll deliver exceptional customer experiences and perfectly fitted garments, both in person and through digital channels, and help build our reputation as Toronto's leading customer-focused menswear brands.
This role offers a competitive compensation including Base Pay of $18 to $22 / hour + Commission + Perks. There is no cap to compensation.
Must be available to work Saturdays as MADE is open Tuesday to Saturday. *Candidates must be available to work 4-5 days per week, including Saturdays.
MADE's Studio Hours are Tuesday - Thursday 10-7pm, Friday to Saturday 10 am - 5pm.
SALES & SERVICE GROWTH
Manage, monitor and execute client appointments
Hold self and team accountable for activities and results surrounding Sales, Service and Profit targets
Develop and increase relationships with high-value (VIP) client-base through exceptional service, networking, referrals and outreach
Support development and collection of content for marketing and social media purposes
Assist with daily operational requirements including sales floor management, staffing, and client schedule
Ongoing management of customer timelines on a Daily / Weekly / Monthly level to ensure customer satisfaction
Manage customer issues with professionalism, tact and bottom-line point of view
FIT, MEASUREMENTS, STYLING EXPERTISE
Act as a subject matter expert on MADE's Style, Fit, Product and Customer Experience both in-person and online
Manage and own all MADE patterns and measurement techniques, and resolve any fit issues with customers, production team, and tailors
TRAINING STAFF & PERFORMANCE
Assist Sales / Showroom Manager in training and onboarding new Style Guides and Support Staff
Manage business-vendor relationship with local tailor ensuring timely, accurate and cost-effective performance
Own and manage the Alteration Process, coordinating garments to and from our tailoring team
You are passionate about retail and customer service, and have a definite interest in men's fashion, personal styling and tailoring, and a proven approach to delivering customer experiences that are simply top-notch.
You are a driven and motivated seller, and you understand what it means to be part of a successful team. In addition, the following also describes you :
Sales and metrics driven leader with a track record of achieving and surpassing targets
Experience in menswear tailoring, styling, garment alterations, and fabrics a strong asset
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in any of the following :
Premium or Luxury Retail / Service
Menswear and / or Custom Tailoring
Sales or Account Executive Role
Demonstrated passion for customer service excellence
Ability to manage time independently and remain accountable to targets in a fast-paced environment
SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge about men's tailoring, pattern design, fashion or styling, garment alterations, and fabrics is helpful
Extremely detail oriented and process driven
Must be a self starter with strong solution oriented thought process
Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to learn, grow and adapt
Strong proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Point-of-Sale software, as well as strong proficiency in Excel & other MS Office programs
Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead a team during high-energy situations
