Who you are

You will be looking for a part - time (0.5 FTE) position. You’re a technology specialist with solid experience providing IT support to identify, communicate, and resolve end user issues.

Aside from your technical prowess, you bring a positive, customer-centric approach to your work, whether it’s providing desk side / phone support to staff in remote office locations, assisting with local area network operations or escalating IT tickets to specialized teams to resolve.

In this hybrid role you will be responsible for a mixture of Deskside / Field support and Service Desk remote support. All of which will be based in the Victoria office (with very occasional travel to our Nanaimo office).

What you bring

  • 3-5 years of IT support experience
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems
  • Advanced software and hardware technical skills
  • Experience supporting networked environments &mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Experienced in managing Active Directory accounts & conference room technologies (Video, Telephony)
  • Troubleshooting and managing Office 365 accounts and supporting Office Applications
  • Knowledge of Incident and Request fulfillment using IT Service Management tools
  • Bonus skills and experience

  • Flexibility in work schedule must be able to work overtime when needed
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • A+ Certification & ITIL Foundations Certification
