Who you are
An exciting opportunity to lead the Colliers Project Leaders Human Resources team in Canada. Reporting to the CEO of Colliers Project Leaders, you’re a seasoned HR leader who can operate both strategically and tactically.
You will develop and deliver the HR strategy for Colliers Project Leaders, in alignment with the 2025 business transformation strategy.
You'll lead and champion HR projects, and build strong relationships with business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR strategy and complex people related matters.
You’re an inspiring leader, with a passion for developing your team. You will provide coaching and guidance to a nationally distributed team, acting as an advocate for each team members growth and development.
This role is based in the Colliers Project Leaders Mississauga office, with travel required frequently.
What you bring :
At least 10 years’ experience in progressive HR roles, with 3 years minimum in a leadership role.
Degree in HR, Business, or other relevant degree.
High degree of business acumen; you have demonstrated experience developing and executing a long-term, Human Resources Strategic plan.
Experience building and implementing projects from the ground up.
Sound working knowledge of the Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Human Rights Code, and other employment legislation across Canada.
Strong facilitation skills; you are comfortable presenting to the leadership team.
A passion for excellence and continuous improvement.
Exceptional coaching skills; you’ve lead highly engaged teams and have helped your staff develop professionally.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you consider yourself a natural influencer.
Bonus skills and experience
You hold a Certified Human Resources Leader or equivalent designation.
Willingness to travel across Canada.
HR experience in professional services / consulting is considered an asset.
