Homewood Health™ is actively seeking registered mental health professionals interested in providing service on an occasional, contract basis for Homewood Health™ Stay at Work Services, Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) in our Calgary office.

Our EFAP providers deliver short-term, solutions-oriented counselling : working with depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, workplace challenges, stress management and addictions, and are able to work with individuals and / or couples and families.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide short-term, solutions-oriented counseling : working with depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, workplace challenges, stress management and addictions
  • Able to work with adult individuals, couples, families and children
  • Provide telephonic counseling for clients in crisis
  • Adhere to professional standards and best practices
  • Participate in in-house training and meetings as required.

    Qualifications :

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
  • Registration or clinical membership with relevant governing body
  • 3 to 5 years generalist clinical counselling experience post master’s degree
  • Experience working in the EFAP field
  • Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by Homewood Health™
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Written and verbal French language fluency is an asset
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office ( Word, Outlook)
