  • Responsible for all color management relating to dailies processing and deliverables.
  • Perform primary color corrections and color management on a variety of projects.
  • Incorporate specific looks determined by cinematographers.
  • Liaises with Cinematographers and DITs prior to a project’s start up to ensure expectations are known and that there is a clear line of communication.
  • Perform sound syncing and data / file management as required.
  • Perform a thorough quality control check on media, noting and relaying any issues to Producer and production

  • Knowledge of episodic television and feature film post production processes and file-based workflows
  • Knowledge of video deliverables for editorial, screening media and online content delivery.
  • Knowledge of Colorfront OSD, Cortex, DaVinci Resolve an asset
  • General knowledge of film and color science
  • Understanding of ASC CDLs, LUTs and ACES transforms used in color management
  • Experience color grading long form projects such feature films, TV series and MOWs.
  • Working knowledge of PC and Mac computer systems and creative programs such as Avid, FCP, Photoshop etc.
  • 3+ years of experience working in TV and Film dailies.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively multi-task.
  • Detailed oriented and be able to meet critical deadlines.
  • Strong professional ethics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be able to maintain flexible schedule to meet production requirements; ability to work overnight shifts, long hours and weekends as needed
