Associate Partner, Financial Wellness

Summary of Duties

Dual Role to be responsible for revenue growth targets for Financial Wellbeing business line and for DC Admin growth. This is a business development and client relationship building role.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Financial Wellbeing Product to clients and net new logos
  • Maintain service and revenue accountability for the overall client book while establishing strategies for services that meet both current and future client needs
  • Up-selling and cross-selling activities within Morneau Shepell’s broader book of business
  • Support sales effort for DC Admin services, including record keeping, Resiliency, Cumulus,
  • Decumulation and eventually OCIO support (build client relationships, lead finalist presentations, support proposals)
  • Lead identified client opportunities (e.g. RFI, RFPs) with support of broader team of subject matter experts and regional team leads
  • Engage the client teams in developing and executing on the annual client plan
  • Support key strategic growth initiatives and build required business cases (for example, implement ETF products within DC Services line, work with third parties as appropriate)
  • Coordination and participation in sales / marketing events, as required
  • Work closely with the DC Business team, sales and proposal team and DC IT team
  • Work closely with Financial Wellbeing team
  • May work closely with Pension Legal team to obtain required approvals and work with IT and business teams to operationalize
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of directly related work experience in Investment and CAP
  • CFA would be an asset
  • Proficient understanding of CAP and Investment Securities Law in Canada
  • Excellent at building and maintaining client relationships at all levels including C-suite (influencers
  • and decision makers)
  • Sales experience is a must
  • Job Grade : MS8
