Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing their team and is looking for a Commercial Account Manager based in Vancouver, BC at our West 16th Ave office, o / a Mardon Insurance Brokers.
This individual will be responsible for managing a select group of accounts and is ideally suited to someone working in a commercial team who has been waiting for an opportunity to manage accounts and provide the highest level of customer service.

The Opportunity :

In this role you will be responsible for :
Managing accounts, processing renewals, identify opportunities to cross-sell and offer new coverage
Delivering exceptional client service resulting in high level of retention
Submitting underwriting information as required, follow up to ensure timely action can be taken on quotes and existing policies
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through timely communication via phone, letter, email and in person
Providing support to clients through the claims process
Collecting premiums and coordinating with Accounting on outstanding accounts receivables
Here’s what you bring :
Insurance Broker level 2 license preferred, but open to an experienced level 1 agent
At least 2 years' Commercial Insurance experience
Strong written and verbal communications skills, an active listener
Ability to explain complex information in a simple manner
A natural ability at building authentic customer relationships
Excellent time management skills
Adaptable when priorities change throughout the day based on client needs
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job
