    The Regional Controller is a key role in the company’s accounting, financial planning, financial reporting and budget functions.

    This person must possess strong business acumen and a dynamic personality as this position interacts with senior management and business teams on multiple projects to drive performance and support company initiatives.

    This person will also present detailed analytical recommendations to improve overall results. Knowledge of business concepts and financial statements are essential.

    This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact effectively will all levels of management as well as proven experience managing a team of 4 to 5 direct reports.


    Business partner with Supply Chain Team (VP-Procurement, VP-Sales, VP-Operations and their respective managers)Review weekly / monthly gross margin reports with the teamAnalyze total profitability by customer and / or routeActive participant in developing business models to reflect current and future business needs and post-mortem reviewsPartner with the supply chain team in identifying the global and specific strategy to maximize gross marginSuper-user of financial statements and its components.

    Responsible for all Accounting and Finance activities for all Canada RegionSupport and guide Canadian FP&A team in providing analytical support, budgeting, forecasting and monthly close and reporting (including accuracy of gross margin)Experience implementing and enhancing planning systems and data warehousesFinance representative in all Canadian business activities.

    Strong initiative and ability to work collaboratively (in a team environment) as well as independentlyAssist in developing and implementing opportunities to streamline processes and enhance business and process efficienciesHarmonization and alignment across all districtsWork on M&A as required

    Education & Experience

    University degree in accounting, administration, finance or any similar field.Owner of an accountant title (CPA) or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years as a controller in a manufacturing environment.

    Minimum of 5 years managing a team of direct reports.Ability to influence leaders from various areas of the business.Experience optimizing and upgrading systemsExperience in reporting and data analytics, including experience in budgeting and forecastingExperience analyzing large sets of data and ability to proactively identify issues and make recommendations
