How your role will add to the story :

We’re looking for an Inventory Analyst . You will be expected to contribute to the operational effectiveness of the Retail Sales Operations business.

You’ll also impact CEI results by supporting our dealers with the tools necessary to maximize sales opportunities through our ability in creating an effective and efficient inventory management process.

You will work alongside the Inventory Coordinator and report to the Inventory Control Manager to provide support on all sales operations, production, logistics and employee vehicle program related matters.

A day in the life :

  • Represent the company with a high level of professionalism and courtesy. Follow company standards of personal presentation;
  • and adhere to all Mercedes-Benz Canada and Daimler policies including compliance, and integrity standards. Comply with local, provincial and federal laws including those governing the rules of the road, and health and safety

  • Review sales deals to ensure adherence to VRG Sales Policies.
  • Configuring Mercedes-Benz and smart models towards a centralized inventory model at VRG.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adherence to FIFO inventory releases on core model sales.
  • Manage all employee vehicle program related tasks and inquiries.
  • Follow up on all dealer support matters as it relates to product and logistics.
  • Researching, compiling and producing of sales and inventory related reports as required.
  • Ensure product and pricing information for vehicles in One-Eighty are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor and manage model mix and mileage of demo fleet across all VRG locations.
  • Provide support to the Inventory Coordinator for all logistics related matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new departmental and retail store processes.
  • Assist in the grounding and plating of demo vehicles.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Mercedes-Benz Fan skills, requirements & traits :

  • Undergraduate or equivalent experience.
  • Analytical thinker. Ability to research, compile and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office. Knowledge and experience in ADP, One-Eighty and ADP an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to continuously innovate and challenge.
  • A strong communicator with excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Exception organization skills with the ability to multitask and manage various projects.
  • A passion for the automotive industry.
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines and deliver on expectations.
