Our client is growing! They are in need of a National Sales Manager but with rapid growth opportunity to VP Sales. The company is located in Western GTA.
Compensation will be in the $90-$100k range. In this newly created role you will be responsible for executing the current sales and marketing strategy but more importantly creating and implementing a future based business strategy in order to provide growth opportunities, maximize distribution and warehousing efficiencies in relation to market / customer needs, service center performance, build / mentor / train your team and become the major contributor to revenue and profitability growth.

Reporting to the VP Sales, major challenges for the role are :
Work with Distribution, Purchasing and Service teams to provide world-class customer service
Manage and lead / coach / mentor staff in the day to day administration of the Sales department.
Drive the ongoing process of cultural change management to bring clear definition of team responsibility and accountability
Provide energy and innovative solutions to customer negotiations and pricing controls
Envision and strategically plan for and launch programs designed to identify new markets and optimize current markets. Requirements
Extensive Big Box and Retail exposure and contacts
Experienced with multiple product order / distribution / replenishment software systems
Strategic vision and leadership
Ability to build / maintain teams and team synergy
Proven ability to grow customer base and revenue streams

Exposure to or knowledge of small engine compressor and power generating products

You have graduated from a post secondary institution with a degree in a related field and maintained a regimen of continuous learning in the Sales and Marketing field.
