The Manager of Therapy & Rehabilitation, under the direction of the Director, Integrated Care Solutions is accountable for supervising and supporting our therapy & rehabilitation services.
The Manager of Therapy and Rehabilitation provides visionary leadership and establishes direction for a comprehensive therapy program to support the advancement of quality, efficiency and safety of care for patients under bundled care models.
The focus of the work will be to ensure that therapists and therapy assistants are aligning practice, administration, research and academic partnerships with a comprehensive therapy program to support integrative programs of care.
This position is home based with a reporting relationship into the National Development Centre in Mississauga.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
on-one meetings, group presentations, direct marketing / mail efforts and display marketing in community venues.
Human Resources Management
Cultivate a strong customer service performance culture.
Responsible for completing Accident Reports for all direct reports who injure themselves on the job, within 24 hours of the incident.
The Manager of Therapy & Rehabilitation reports to the Director, Integrated Care Solutions. All
Consultants and / or staff work under the direction of the Manager of Therapy &Rehabilitation.
Masters or Bachelor’s Degreee in Occupational or Physiotherapy. Registered and in good standing with the applicable regulatory College.
Or a university degree in vocational rehabilitation, medical rehabilitation, a related subject or an equivalent certification.
Possess a RRP or CCRC designation.
Minimum five years providing rehabilitation services to clients to ensure they achieve maximum level of function. Case management, in-
home assessments, attendant care needs assessments, functional ability assessments, ergonomic assessments, future care cost analyses, vocational assessments, employment counseling, transferable skills analyses, and labour market surveys all considered an asset.
Marketing and business building an asset.

Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers and related software such as Windows, commitment to continual learning. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
The Manager of Therapy & Rehabilitation must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, in response to changes by the regulating body, as well as agreed upon specific goals and objectives.
