A leading Canadian success story, currently has an opening for a highly motivated accounting professional to step into a role for a 6 month renewable contract.
The person in this role will support infrastructure investment portfolios on a multi-million dollar scale. The candidate needs to be comfortable and highly effective in a rapidly changing environment.
Duties of the Senior Manager, Infrastructure Accounting include :
Reviewing entries made by junior staff
Managing cost books, market books and analysis
Ability to apply performance metrics, including but not limited to dividend ratios, interest, cash distribution, cash management, etc.
Prepare the accounting for complex holding companies
Prepare management reporting
Prepare white papers under IFRS 9 and IFRS 16
Provide sound accounting guidance to meet both business and financial reporting needs
Provide accurate and complete financial reporting
Work closely with lenders, deal teams, legal, taxation and others
Qualifications for the Senior Manager, Infrastructure Accounting include :
Previous experience in infrastructure accounting in areas including but not limited to; asset management, toll roads, hospitals, energy producers, mining, etc.
Demonstrated business leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
