Status : Temporary Full-Time (1 year contract with a possibility of extension)
The Lupus Program at The Centre for Prognosis Studies in Rheumatic Diseases (CPSRD) located at Toronto Western Hospital has a focus on diagnosis, treatment and genetic factors of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), and has an outstanding tradition of combining scientific rigor with practical relevance.
The lupus program is currently conducting studies with a multidisciplinary team (rheumatology, psychology / neuropsychology, neurology) examining the assessment of cognitive function in adult SLE patients.
The Clinical Research Analyst will complete psychometric testing and patient qualitative interviews for these cognitive function projects.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their competency to administer a range of neuropsychological assessment tools.
At minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology; Master’s degree in Psychology preferred
At minimum, 1 year clinical / professional experience
Previous full time experience administering and scoring cognitive and neuropsychological psychometric tests required
Competency in administering a range of neuropsychological assessment tools required
Experience using statistical analysis and data management software applications preferred
Knowledge of research regulations and guidelines, such as ICH / GCP guidelines, Tri-Council Policy, Declaration of Helsinki and FDA CFR and Health Canada TPD as required
Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures preferred
Ability to communicate complex technical information in a manner easily understood by non-technical personnel
Excellent problem solving skills required
Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team in a health care setting an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization, prioritization skills, good computer skills
Ability to learn quickly and work independently
Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
