Position Overview :

The Mid-Market Account Support Representative is responsible for seeking, developing, planning and implementing sales and retention strategies targeting Mid-

Market customers. The position plans and coordinates sales development and customer loyalty activities to identify business opportunities and manage accounts effectively.

The Mid-Market Account Support Representative analyzes customer needs, and builds and maintains privileged professional relationships.

Responsibilities :

  • Meet and exceed sales, revenue and business development targets with our customers
  • Increase Mid-Market sales based on growth and retention targets and TELUS’ strategic direction
  • Build strong relationships with customers by offering solutions and alternatives to retain their loyalty
  • Listen to and understand customers’ needs to quickly provide creative, relevant and simple solutions
  • Work closely with internal TELUS teams and various partners
  • Get involved and participate in various networking activities
  • Understand competitors’ strategies using available reports and identify the business opportunities they represent
  • Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop business networks
  • Excellent work organization and time management skills
  • Creativity, proactivity and initiative
  • Ability to multi-task with a good level of follow-up skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy and challenging environment is essential
  • Knowledge of wireless and wireline products and services is an asset
  • Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or a college diploma
