Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Residential Operations, the Marketing Manager has overall responsibility for the development and execution of a best-
in-class marketing and leasing strategy for the assigned portfolio of residential communities.
Web PresenceResponsible for refining and maintaining a best-in-class web presence for the assigned portfolioContributes to the continuous enhancement of website functionality to ensure an industry leading customer experienceContinuously monitors website performance for SEO optimizationLiaises with external partners regarding website performance
Leasing ManagementTracks and monitors traffic, leasing velocity, prospect follow-up and occupancy performance across the assigned portfolioDevelops programs and campaigns to address leasing challengesLiaises with third party marketing and advertising providersMonitors the effectiveness of advertising programs using a variety of metrics (ROI, cost per lead, cost per lease, etc.)
Planning and Budgeting
Leads the development of asset specific marketing plans for the assigned portfolio
Coordinates the creation of the annual marketing budgets for assets within the assigned portfolio
Reputation Management / Social Media
Tracks and monitors online reputation metrics across the assigned portfolioResponsible for managing and elevating QuadReal Residential’s social media presence, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedInCreate and edits social media contentDevelop social media plans to address day-
to-day and key marketing messages, including seasonal campaigns and special promotionsStrategize and implement digital / social media advertising campaigns
Campaigns and Special EventsOversees the design of programmatic and asset specific marketing materialsPlans and executes various special events for existing assets and new developments, including developing event concepts, timelines an overall effectivenessFormulates campaigns to address leasing challenges
Education and Qualifications :
5 to 7 years’ related marketing experience in multifamily residential, hospitality or other closely correlated industries
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
Adobe InDesign experience is considered an asset
Experienced in leveraging social media as an engagement and advertising mechanism
Ability to work effectively across departmental lines
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various audiences in a clear and concise manner
Ability to prioritize workload and handle competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to deal with ambiguity and effectively adjust to change
Self-starter with the ability to independently start and complete projects and anticipate next steps
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
