Channel Representatives play a key role in growing business for Dell. Assigned to specialize in a particular market, they’re responsible for all sales activities at a dedicated partner site.

From developing new accounts to expanding existing ones, they’re champions of our game-changing products and services. As they drive demand, they drive revenue and they drive Dell forward to an even more exciting future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sells products and services, including desktops, laptops, printers, software, enterprise solutions, and service contracts.
  • Responsible to drive inbound and outbound calls, emails, and web interface to focus on maintaining and expanding business relationships / market share with existing and new customers Functions as the primary insides sales demand generalist and provides support to the field sales leader with all sales internal resources, in both strategy and executions
  • May focus on new account development and / or expanding existing accounts Works with channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities Develops, motivates and coordinates sales team and channel sales team to optimize sales execution Interfaces with the channel to ensure that service level agreements are met
  • Develops the relationship between the company and the partner, influences partners and resellers to promote company solutions Influences partners and resellers to promote total company solutions Training and partnership with the partner representatives
  • Essential Requirements
  • Develop relationships with an assigned partner and maintains contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, basic issue resolution, and footprint expansion
  • Collaborates with manager to develop territory plan to identify key target markets and plans sales campaigns to drive demand for a dedicated partner
  • Performs outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, sales qualifications, and offer extensions to existing or new customers If account / acquisition focused, individual responsible for :
  • Average-to-high revenue spend and / or account complexity within assigned business.
  • Higher strategic value within assigned business. Accurately updates and utilizes Salesforce.com to track all sales activities
  • Meets quota goals in an assigned market with a specific partner and ensures sales targets / objectives are achieved quarterly and annually
  • Meets activity metrics for scheduled calls, opportunities added, net new accounts and units sold. Leverages internal resources (e.
  • g. District Manager, Technical Consultants, Solution Specialists, Global Financial Services) and channel resources to drive transactional volume

  • Maintains working knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition in order to position DellEMC products effectively with customers.
