About this Opportunity

This technical leadership role within IS reports to the Corporate Applications Supervisor and will support the development, implementation and sustainment of application solutions for a variety of business units.

The Corporate Applications team is looking for an enterprising, diligent, self-motivated individual to engage in the implementation of an Enterprise Asset Management solution and contribute to the ongoing sustainment and governance of the Maximo platform, as well as other corporate applications in the IS Portfolio.

Job functions will involve :

  • Contribute in the Enterprise Asset Management implementation program (Maximo SaaS) Work with Business teams to ensure that needs are clearly understood, requirements are accurately gathered and documented, and the technology implemented meets the business requirements Collaborating with business and technical architects to ensure data, business strategy and capability alignment Anticipate implementation risks and issues ensure appropriate actions are taken to mitigate Liaison between IS and the Business and Project Teams
  • Works with the Business to establish road maps and long-range system planning
  • Provide functional support to the current Enterprise Asset Management System (Maximo)
  • Point of contact for business stakeholders in resolving application issues or promotion of application upgrades
  • Support Paramount’s Operations policies, procedures and specifications through adaptation and configuration of applications
  • Work closely with business units to evaluate business processes and support effective application governance
  • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 10+ years experience in Oil & Gas
  • 5+ years experience with Maximo
  • Experience with other corporate applications (i.e. :
  • Qbyte FM, AFE Navigator, CS Land, Open Invoice, etc.) and business intelligence / analytic tools (i.e. :

    Power BI, Spotfire)

  • Experience with SQL in Oracle
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented
  • Experience in a technical leadership role (i.e. :
  • Team Lead or Project Lead)

  • Experience in a technical project management role
  • Strong organizational with the ability to multi-task
  • Strategic thinker with business acumen
