Roevin, a Division of The Adecco Group of Companies Rotating Engineer - Utilities Team The Rotating Engineering job in Fort McMurray Alberta, is a full-

time 6 month contract position based on a regular weekly schedule.

In this role you will provide general machinery (rotating equipment) engineering support for Equipment Strategies, with in the utilities area.

Candidates from outside of Fort McMurray are also invited to apply however there is no allocation of LOA for this role.

Responsibilities : -Apply machinery engineering technology and tools to support equipment class programs -Mentor both entry level and less experienced machinery engineers and technologists.

  • Provide machinery engineering Non Process Quality Control (NPQC) support to capital projects -Develop mechanical specifications for machinery equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, fans, motors, etc.
  • Wear analysis to determine mission runs. -Vibration analysis and equipment health monitoring of rotating equipment. -Bachelor Degree in Engineering -

    Membership in the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGA) as a Professional Engineer (must have a valid APEGA license) -

    5 years of machinery (rotating equipment) engineering experience preferably in the petro chemical industry. -Field experience in an operating facility troubleshooting rotating equipment problems and providing short and long term solutions to increase the reliability and availability of the equipment.

    Must have experience with the following equipment at a minimum : High speed compressors, turbines, pumps, fans, gearboxes and motors.

  • Experience in Equipment Strategy Development in a multi discipline team for key units -Experience in Root Cause Failure Analysis for rotating equipment -
  • Facilitates alignment and open, effective communication among stakeholders -Exhibits good interpersonal skills and works effectively in a team -
