What YOU Do :

The Broadband Networks team is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-directed individual with a proven track-record of delivery.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play an instrumental role in leading multiple projects to deliver system and value chain capabilities enabling the Door-

to-Door Sales channels in driving increased revenue growth.

Your primary responsibility will be leading a cross functional team to plan and execute system capability and process improvements to deliver a Customer First experience for our PureFibre customers.

Collaboration across business units and with key stakeholders to develop, and execute on these initiatives with multi-faceted complexity and business impact is a key part of being successful in this role.

Accountabilities include :

  • Advancing software and system solutions from Concept through to Delivery by focusing on desired outcomes
  • Understanding the current door-to-door sales representative experience and identifying opportunities to reduce cycle time, support the sales teams in achieving increased sales through new systems capabilities and ultimately drive an exceptional customer experience
  • Developing roadmaps to support full delivery of capabilities
  • Facilitating requirements and defining user stories with cross-functional stakeholders in our Channel, Construction and Support teams that support new services such as Home Security and key capabilities such as sales compensation processing & reporting
  • Participating & providing input into design of solution
  • Providing updates to advance funding and meet governance requirements
  • Developing business cases to assess and prioritize ideas
  • Providing high level assessments of impacts of changes to systems, tools and processes
  • Communicating with stakeholders throughout the project life cycle
  • Development & execution of test plans
  • Process and user documentation
  • Measuring & evaluating post-deployment performance
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities
  • What YOU Bring :

  • Strong analytical skills including, business case development, requirements gathering, user-story development, software testing, process design methodologies
  • Experience in trial methodologies to test and monitor for results
  • Knowledge of TELUS systems supporting our consumer and small business customers
  • 5-7 years of delivering complex projects in telecommunications industry
  • Strong leadership supporting large cross functional teams through significant change
  • Experience in a variety of engagement and change management techniques
  • Great communicator with strong Microsoft PowerPoint, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder agreement, solve problems, and motivate people to take action, including virtual team members
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and gain buy-in
  • Outstanding business acumen with the ability to anticipate and develop strategies in a rapidly evolving telecommunication industry
  • Bachelor degree or post-secondary diploma in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent education and / or experience
  • Business Analysis & Project Management certifications would be an asset
  • Salesforce.com experience would be an asset
