Your role : As Web Content Editor, you will write headlines and short copy, adapt general programming content, and update CBC / Radio-

Canada French Services Web sites and sections, in accordance with Corporation standards and policies. You will follow developments in multimedia, mobile media and other related fields, and assist with short-

and medium-term planning for upcoming publications.


We are looking for a candidate with the following :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years' relevant experience.
  • Good general knowledge and knowledge of current events.
  • Solid command of French.
  • Knowledge of English is an asset.
  • Solid command of communication techniques specific to the Internet.
  • Good knowledge of research and interview techniques.
  • High tolerance for stress and ability to work well under pressure during rush periods.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to select relevant items for posting online, then adapt, summarize and add to them as required.
  • Writing ability, perfect knowledge of grammar and syntax;
  • Ability to determine the order items appear.
  • Strong ability to digitize, format, and edit audiovisual material.
