    Position Overview :

    The Director, Client Technology Adoption, will direct and support a client focused team that manages the implementation of new client facing technologies and the technology component of the client onboarding process.

    Director, Client Technology Adoption is accountable to :

  • Direct and support a team of client focused individuals in the successful deployment of client facing technology initiatives
  • Manage and support client technology onboarding with focus on providing a superior client experience.
  • Advocate a client first approach to all functions the team supports.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership, subject matter expertise and support to staff; assist Client Adoption Analysts with program deliverables and setting client and internal expectations.
  • Manage and balance resources based on agreed to priorities leveraging Planview dashboarding and reporting
  • Functional human resources management of Client Technology Adoption team; setting performance objectives for direct reports, conducting performance reviews, coordinate training requirements , coaching, motivating, leadership, advice and day to day support to staff in the performance of their roles including the recruitment of new staff
  • Deliver project updates to AVP and senior technology leaders;
  • Deliver formal presentations to business units; communicate project status to internal and external parties.
  • Assist in supporting Business Development in sales process providing technology insight and expertise.
  • Conduct and chair meetings and obtain the involvement in projects of the staff from impacted functional areas and clients when necessary.
  • Support creation of RFP responses and provide assistance to the business development process as needed.
  • Assist staff as needed in the preparation of project plans, securing appropriate input and cooperation of both internal and external parties, monitoring progress against project deliverables and update project plans to reflect changes
  • Qualifications :

  • University degree
  • 5-7 years progressive experience in project management, client services and staff management
  • Knowledge and experience within the Investment Fund and Recordkeeping segment; securities industry and related platforms; report writing software
  • Strong knowledge of securities and custodial platforms
  • Business Analysis and / or Project Management certification
  • Decision making, leadership, verbal and written communication skills; negotiation, analytical and detailed oriented; problem solving skills
