What is the opportunity?

Everything is cool when you're part of an awesome team. The Data and Analytics (DNA) Run the Bank Team (RTB) delivers enterprise services for internal applications and works with external partners.

We are looking to add a System Support Analyst (SSA) to our DNA Reference Data Application RTB team. We design, build, and deliver innovative Data services through our DevOps framework.

You will work with our RTB team to ensure our services are delivered securely and performing as expected for customers. You will get plenty of opportunity to innovate with our DevOps teams on code scalability, resiliency architecture, deployment automation, fault injection testing and more.

What will you do?

  • Support services before they go live through transition into production and maintain activities such as capacity planning, monitoring, configuration, setup, logging, production readiness and reviews
  • Monitor existing systems for trends, resiliency and growth.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents, incident post-mortems and drive issue resolutions with our DevOps teams.
  • Automate and improve processes while developing and managing service health dashboards
  • Develop effective tooling, alerts, and automated responses to identify and address reliability risks.
  • Manage and improve performance, availability, and security (site reliability) through active analysis and design of production systems.
  • Optimize infrastructure utilization and cost
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to gauge service trends and drive improvements.
  • Must Haves :

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical field such as mathematics
  • 5 or more years of experience with Unix / Linux and Windows operating systems as a developer and / or system administrator and working knowledge of networking (e.
  • g., firewall, routing, network topologies and hardware, SDN)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • System Owner aptitude attitude with strong sense accountability over productions services under your realm and working knowledge of web-
  • based application architectures

  • Operational experience with most of the following technologies : Red Hat 6 / 7, HP SCON DB, SQL, DB2, Sybase, Oracle, Data Warehouse, Data Lake -
  • Hadoop / Hive, WebSphere, Infosphere, WINOWS Server, IBM AIX, Oracle DB, TIBCO EMS, Weblogic, Java ETL (IBM Data Stage) C, C++, MongoDB, Elastic Search

    Nice To Have :

  • ITIL Certification Service Operations, Development and Transition.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and statistics
  • Experience with Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence technology
  • Experience with Business Technology Risk, Compliance and Audit (SOC1, SOX)
