Summit Search Group, a leading national recruitment agency, has partnered with them to recruit a Territory Manager.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will be the key commercial contact to customers within an assigned geographic territory.
Works with customers to provide commercial development, analyze requirements and provide technical guidance in solving technical issues
Provides product information and training to customers, as appropriate to their market stream and skill development goals
Ensures key customers and developing accounts are serviced appropriately to achieve annual sales objectives for the company
Implements sales plans, marketing, pricing and distribution strategies for market streams as appropriate to the assigned territory
Nurtures a cooperative commercial relationship with all customers on their assigned territory
Ensures effective commercial development through follow-up on quotes and project implementation
Monitors and reports competitive market information and pricing, as it affects key products, to the Regional Sales Manager
Promotes good customer relations based on high standards and fair dealings
Makes suggestions to management for improvements in all areas
Interfaces with other corporate functions to achieve organizational goals
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Sales / Marketing or a technical discipline
Ten years’ experience in a Customer Support environment with strong familiarity to the manufacturing environment
Demonstrates excellent communications, training and leadership skills
Proven project management experience would be considered a definite asset
Excellent customer communication and relationship building skills
Proficient with a computer and familiar with MS Office (Excel) and SAP
