We are dedicated to helping your business. As part of the Sales Team, this individual will work within the Field or National Sales division marketing SPP products and services to new and existing customers.
Responsible for achieving personal sales and profit goals. Will collaborate with CSR team to ensure ordering and delivery of sales.
Key Job Responsibilities
Increase sales within existing customer base through proactive activities such as customer visits, calls, marketing and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
Secure new accounts through networking and prospecting.
Research and prepare quotes to ensure maximum profit and market competitiveness.
Increase sales by staying current with new products and trends as well as developing an awareness of customer requirements / preferences and changes in the local market, competitors and industry.
Maintain a record of sales activities and follow up requirements in the designated computer systems.
Assist in the development and maintenance of the SPP brand by utilizing promotional materials to introduce and increase customer knowledge of SPP in the local market.
Ensure customers have complete satisfaction with their SPP experience. Respond immediately to inquiries, issues and customer complaints.
Act as a liaison between SPP and customers with regards to invoicing and service problems.
Work with the CSR team to ensure that all orders are placed and delivered according to the customer requirements.
Add value to the customer experience by developing a thorough understanding of their business, project and / or operational requirements.
Advise the customer on the best product(s) to accomplish objectives and recommend discounts, and / or custom solutions. Provide creative solutions to exceed the customer expectations.
Contribute to the team effort by participating in the sales team calls / meetings, sharing of best practices and success stories, collaborating on proposal development and consultative selling techniques.
Work at driving key customer penetration through all customer influential.
Qualifications Additional Skills / Abilities
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience within a sales role
Office experience within a sales support role is an asset
Vehicle access is required
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentations skills with a flare for sales.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Builds collaborative relationships and trust through open communication.
Product knowledge of a broad range of products and services and vendor relations.
University or college diploma in sales or business or equivalent working experience within a B2B sales environment is preferred.
