Job Overview This role will lead a variety of research projects and synthesize data from multiple sources (i.e. digital behaviour, POS, transactional data, etc.
to provide insightful analyses to support data-driven decision making for stakeholders in Marketing, Retail Sales, Healthcare Sales and Digital CRM.
This is to ensure that RB Health Canada is exceptional in understanding consumer insights across multiple categories to maintain market leadership.
Responsibilities : 1. Manage market research projects to build a comprehensive understanding of consumer behaviour. Responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and reporting qualitative and quantitative results of internally lead research studies.
This involves understanding objectives, developing / revising questionnaires based on specific client needs, dataset assembly and review as well as working with field suppliers and managing day to day operations.
It will also include prioritizing of essential reporting for business partners, creating visualizations, conducting statistical analyses, and optimizing reports and recommendations in conjunction with business partners to ensure achievement of all necessary project objectives.
2. Provide business partners with strategic ad hoc analytical needs
Analyse available data sources (e.g, behavioural, digital, transactional, 3rd party) to provide triangulated guidance to answer key knowledge gaps and provide insight.
Work with cross-functional business analytics team members to fully understand issues and ensure an integrated comprehensive analysis is provided
3. Monthly KPI Reporting
Provide monthly update of scorecard metrics through analysis of internal tracking research projects and relevant data sources (Google Analytics, Nielsen Market Track, SalesForce, CRM, Sprinklr, etc.).
Coordinate additional metric inputs from business channels. Identify areas of success and weakness. Collaborate with channel business partners to understand performance drivers and recommended action.
Improve methods and ensure metrics remain relevant while modifying KPI and metrics as strategy evolves.
Coordinate with stakeholders and track target setting logic and methods of metrics.
Designing and building foundational KPI reports where needed.
The successful candidate will hold a university degree or equivalent (social sciences, math, computer sciences or business), with a minimum of 5 years analytics management experience.
History of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term.
Excellent analytical, storytelling, and problem solving skills. Ability to translate / communicate analytics recommendations to both technical and nontechnical team members.
Ability to challenge the status quo and encourage use of new information and consumer insights.
Strong understanding of quantitative (univariate and multivariate) analysis techniques. Experience with statistical software (e.g. SAS, SPSS or R).
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence software an asset.
Experience with digital analytic tools and platforms - Google Analytics, social monitoring, data mining, share of voice, digital media impact and ROI.
