  • Actively partake in the design and prepare drawings and specifications for ventilation, air conditioning, heating, cooling, plumbing and fire protection systems
  • Perform on-site surveys
  • Determine construction costs and quantities in compliance with standardized methods and established drawings and specification
  • Perform studies and write technical reports
  • Solve technical problems that require research and in-depth analysi
  • Prepare fee budgets and ensure follow-up
  • Ensure work supervision
  • Write reports on work status and contribute to the development of the action plan
  • Make recommendations regarding payment of completed work
  • Supervise the work of less experienced engineers or technicians
  • Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent, with a major in Structural Engineering
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering - an asset
  • Member of the Corporation of Quebec Engineers (OIQ)
  • In-depth knowledge of codes and standards governing building structures
  • More than 10 years of experience in the area of complex and high-rise buildings
  • Experience in the residential sector (significant asset)
  • Mastery of structural analysis and calculation software, as well as MS Office suite
  • Mastery of the French language, both spoken and written
  • Functional knowledge of the English language - an asset
  • Benefits
