Edelman Toronto’s Corporate Practice is looking for an Account Manager with 3-4years of relevant experience in communications and public relations, ideally inan agency environment, to join our Crisis and Risk Team.
You will be giventhe opportunity to own client relationships, drive the planning and contentcreation for internal and external communications programming and manage real-
timebreaking issues.You will help protectand evolve the corporate reputations of some of the world’s top companies.
Although direct crisis experience is nota prerequisite, your experience will include a robust knowledge of, and theability to, counsel clients on media relations strategies, internalcommunications, reputation management, and issues management, and you will havea solid understanding of digital communications and social media.
Candidatesmust demonstrate excellent writing skills, project management qualities and a trackrecord of leading and executing successful client programs that measurably supportclients’ business objectives.
We need a confident, driven anddetail-oriented individual who will cultivate both internal and clientrelationships and take initiative.
The successful candidate will have proven projectmanagement skills, including the ability to oversee projects on multiple clientaccounts.
You will have excellent written and verbal communications andpresentation skills, and a demonstrable knowledge of current events, mediachannels and social platforms.
