Working as a part of the Kantar Insights Canada team, applies recognized functional knowledge and research skills to ensure that projects are executed on time and within budget to the satisfaction of clients.
Support strong client relationships and account development through attention to detailed client requirements.
Participate in determining appropriate research design, providing recommendations, as appropriate.
Write draft proposals outlining research design that addresses client business issues
Provide direction and assistance to the Research Design & Management (RDM) team in the development of questionnaire content and any required study materials.
Coordinate with RDM and Sampling / Marketing Science to ensure that the agreed upon weighting scheme has been applied to the final data set
Provide direction to RDM and / or Operations Liaison (OL) on tab specifications, so data tables can be generated efficiently.
Review tab specifications created by OL to generate computer data tables for studies.
Sense-check accuracy of data tables.
Provide direction and assistance to Charting / Data Design, as they prepare draft reports and presentations.
Use research industry tools to pull data for additional / ad-hoc reporting needs
Support the development and maintenance of strong client relationships through attention to detailed client requirements and being proactive and responsive in any client dealings.
Support the management of client relationships and of account development by engaging in understanding client business issues, and contributing to the alignment of research solutions with their marketing needs.
Convey and promote the broad range of Kantar product and service offerings.
Expand and develop business with new and existing clients by assuming direct responsibility for studies.
Good understanding of the market research industry, with 3+ years of direct experience.
Good understanding of research concepts and methodologies. Applies identifiable functional knowledge.
Fluent English language skills. Superior writing ability with strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated with the ability to take direction and follow-through independently, taking charge of all applicable project requirements, ensuring their timely completion.
Above-average organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
