    The Field Service Representative II, with minimal supervision, inspects, services, repairs, upgrades or installs medical equipment on which training has been provided.

    This work is performed in clinics, hospitals, donor centers or other equipment locations. All work is performed according to quality and regulatory requirements, as well as, quality standards set by Baxter.

    A FSR II may obtain assistance of more qualified personnel to solve extremely difficult or complex problems. This position is responsible for training to, and complying with, applicable Quality Management System procedures.

    Major Responsibilities / Activities

    Maintenance

    Maintains equipment as assigned within a field territory or provides installation and maintenance support within and outside of the region.

    Provides quality level of service according to established standards.

    Completes paperwork, documentation and administrative tasks per policy and procedure.

    Customer Service

    Manages customer satisfaction by maintaining effective relationships and surpassing customer expectations on service delivery within area of responsibility.

    Work effectively with FS Regional Manager, Field Service Representatives and other functional areas within the company to enhance customer experiences and as a result enhance business performance.

    Financial Effectiveness

    Understand regional revenue goals and assist when possible to grow service revenue toward those goals from within his / her assigned account base.

    An understanding of the Operating

    Budget and compliance with budgetary policies is required.

    Sell service business within area of responsibility as appropriate; maintain financial effectiveness within assigned territory or project.

    Performs any other duties or projects as assigned.

    Required : 2 years of Technical College.

    Required :

    Bio-Medical Field or similar technical degree.

    Or proven equivalent work experience as a Field Engineer.

    Required :

    3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in a service environment.

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision if required.

    Required : 3-5 years

    Required :

    Demonstrated strong people interpersonal skills, relating to a wide variety of people including the ability to work effectively with persons at all levels of the organization and representing the organization professionally.

    Demonstrated ability to self-manage.

    Requires high level of organizational and territory management skills.

    Requires demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

    Requires consistent performance in the ability to use analytical / logical methods to identify and solve equipment related problems.

    Demonstrated accountability for field service administrative tasks.

    Ability to provide technical back up to a Field Service Representative I.

    Focuses on entire customer environment and ability to resolve problems.

    Ability to provide equipment overview training to technical staff at customer locations as necessary.

    Ability to travel to installation / upgrade sites for extended periods of time, willingness to work other shifts and overtime as necessary.

    Ability to practice progressive maintenance and perform preventive maintenance.

    Bilingual (for Eastern Canadian market only).

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    Must have valid Driver’s license.
