Job Responsibilities :
sautéing, grilling, roasting, frying, baking, poaching, steaming, stewing, braising, smoking etc.
Sauce and soup making, more elaborate pastries, basic chocolate work, hot and cold line cooking in fine dining restaurant
Maintaining a standard of food quality in accordance to the guide line provided by the Sous-Chefs and Chef
Providing professional guidance and training to lower ranking fellow workers
Maintaining order and rotation of food in main kitchen refrigerators and dry storages
1st Cook wage : $17.30-$19.50 plus ski pass as well as full benefit package including MSP, extended health, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, and matching RRSP.
Job Qualifications :
Completion of secondary school is preferred
Must have one of the following three completed :
Possess excellent customer service skills
Ability to train personnel
Ability to work under minimal supervision
High energy and strong work ethic
