We are looking for a vibrant and dynamic Research Officer (RO) to support NRC’s Aquatic and Crop Resource Development Research Centre.
The RO would be someone who shares our core values of impact, accountability, leadership, integrity and collaboration.
This specific position will support the goals of NRC and the ACRD Research Centre through innovative research projects in the field of microbial engineering and fermentation, with emphasis on the development of atypical and traditional fermentation processes suitable for the valorization of bioresources.
These projects have strong potential for industrial applications and involve working directly with Canadian industry to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates :
PhD in Industrial Microbiology, Metabolic Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Genetics or a related discipline.
