Vice President, Sales - York region / Markham

Do you have 5+ years of experience in sales management for a metal manufacturing firm?

Have you managed large and complex orders / projects from start to finish?

If you answered yes to all the questions keep reading and get in contact with the team at Inacre today! We are currently searching for an experienced VP of Sales for our client in the Markham / York region area, a leading metal manufacturing company!

Rôle et responsabilités

  • Nurture and maintain positive relationships with key accounts by providing excellent customer service.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives including tracking metrics, process development and continuous improvement of current processes.
  • Manage large complex orders / projects to completion
  • Meet with customers onsite to go over project requirements
  • Be able to manage a team of estimators and work collaboratively
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the structural metal industry.
  • Collaborate with operations, production, sales and executive to solve customer challenges and seize selling opportunities.
  • Forecast forward revenue expectations and projected growth.
  • Make pricing decisions based on knowledge of competitors and substitutes in the current market.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as required.
  • Exigences et expériences

  • Must be familiar with metal structural design with 5+ years of experience in managing sales.
  • Experience as a Sales Director / VP of Sales
  • Has an educational background in Engineering / Business
  • Has developed good relationships with industry general contractors.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, effective, accurate and business sense decision making
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize work load
  • Strong fluent oral and written communication skills
  • An enthusiastic approach and ability to learn quickly and assume responsibility are essential
  • Ability to work outside of normal hours if required
  • Must be fluent in English
