Position Summary :

Our client has engaged us to identify and represent a Senior Project Control Officer (or Senior Project Co-ordinator) with at least 5 years experience managing the workflow, budget tracking, PMO communication and executive level reporting for large multi-

phase, multi million dollar projects.

The required PCO will support a very large and very complex multi-million dollar and multi-year program and its project streams.

The program's purpose is to implement an outsourced solution to address reporting and analytics requirements for our client’s global investment environment.

Candidates must have strong organizational skills and have a very high level of competency with both Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.

They must have experience maintaining and reporting accurate financials for large programs in order to support effective cost management (this is a MUST).

They will be expected to be able to build and maintain large and complex Microsoft Project schedules. The successful candidate must have initiative and be able to function effectively and pro-

actively with minimal direction. They must have fluent English language skills and be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and written.

They must have a good working knowledge of both Microsoft PowerPoint and Word in order to be able to assist with the production of executive level reporting.

Qualifications :

  • Complete Project Management Life Cycle exposure : Solid understanding of all the phases of Project Management (initiation, Requirement gathering, development, implementation, testing, UAT, and Tracking / reporting)
  • MS Project : Excellent use of the various tracking and forecasting tools in MS Project, proficiency in managing small scale projects.
  • Cost Management : An established track record managing project spends, referencing against projections, forecasting of cost overruns, measuring ROI.
  • Report Building / Database Design : An established ability to build report writing tools, especially in MS Excel, and basic Database design (Access) to facilitate tracking and reporting.
  • Lotus Notes, Sharepoint, MS Office ,Visio
  • Compensation : $40-$60 / hr
