We are currently recruiting Junior Chef de Parties to work on-board for our European client, operating 4 and 5* cruise ships.
Rotation : 6 months on, 2 months off
Salary : £2026 per month on-board
Various start dates within the upcoming weeks.
Working as part of a team of 165 chefs, catering for 1000+ covers per sitting
Working on a smaller team of 15-20 Junior Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Trainee Commis Chefs within a specific area of the galley
Providing professionally prepared meals according to the Corporate Menu Cycle
Min. 10 working hours per day
Prior experience within either a 4 or 5* hotel, a rosette standard or Michelin starred restaurant, or cruise line
Must hold NVQ III Food Production Qualification, City & Guilds 706 1 / 2 or other relevant qualification / apprenticeship
It is also advantageous to hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Must speak, read and write English fluently
Experience working within a fine dining and high volume environment
Organised with an eye for details
Uniform is provided on-board, but chefs are welcome to take their own knives.
