Our client one of the big 5 banks in Toronto is currently looking to recruit a to join their team for a 6 month contract.
In this role, the Job Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for :
Document job evaluation results and maintain related information including job descriptions, submission forms, organization charts, comparable roles, and outcomes, in order to ensure history and context is maintained and transferred appropriately.
Maintain databases and spreadsheets to house both executive and non-executive evaluation information to ensure evaluation results are internally relative and can be used for future assessments as needed.
Maintain current and historical executive level information, including evaluation results, job descriptions, and grade levels for reporting and tracking purposes.
Provide data and input for completion of external job matching studies .
Identify and improve processes and efficiencies within the department or existing work flows in order to improve the effectiveness of the job evaluation group.
Ensure regulatory and legislative information is accurately entered and maintained in appropriate databases (e.g. NOC and EEO codes, Pay Equity) to enable accurate legislative and internal reporting.
Skills Required :
2+ years of experience in job evaluation methodology and / or organization design principles.
Consistency in the application of the job evaluation methodology and ability to provide sound rationale for evaluation outcomes.
Strong data management in excel. They must be able to analyze trends. Pivot tables and v-lookups, sort)
Prior experience with Workday or PeopleSoft or an equivalent HRIS system experience
