Join of of Canada's top 100 employers!The Senior Specialist, Partners is responsible for the portfolio of partner brands as well as budget management and planning.

The Senior Specialist, Partners leads the management of partner relationships, annual plans and product portfolio, and ensures alignment with internal stakeholders.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the management of partner relationships and act as the primary contact for cross-functional teams and US counterparts, including contractual governance and compliance, internal and external communications, partner satisfaction, and key delivery and profitability metrics (# of items, volume, revenue, margin, delivery, forecasts, fulfillment rates, etc.).
  • Lead the activation of partner brand plans by developing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Develop the partner brands’ annual brand plan and manages the strategy for all their product forms and channels; prioritization based on consumer and market needs / insights.
  • Lead new partner product introductions, including NPI / stage gate management, coordination and management of artwork, packaging, production, and product portfolio.
  • Participate in partnership discussions and negotiations with new and existing brand partners, from initial conversations through business case and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with US R&D teams to develop and adapt products for the Canadian market.
  • Establish partners’ strategy in order to achieve our business objectives.
  • Track projects against set objectives, analyze and evaluate success of the projects, and pursue path to optimization.
  • Responsible for P&L / budget planning process and the execution for its client / partner portfolio.
  • Compile and analyze sales reports and market data (Nielson) to provide recommendations on the product portfolio.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to partners and senior leadership teams.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required. PMP certification will be considered an asset.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Sales, including 3 years of experience in client management.
  • Solid understanding of marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills to ensure tight deadlines are met both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and presentation skills.
  • Ability and enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and knowledge.
  • Highly developed analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • COMPETENCIES

  • Bilingualism (French / English)
  • Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), including MS Project.
  • Nielsen Workstation Plus.
  • Capacity to travel in Canada and US (10-20% of the time)
  • Capacity to work in collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment.
