We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager within the Nuclear Power industry to join the ENERCON and lead company’s efforts to develop business in Canada.

In this role, your key responsibilities will be to Expand key client and new targeted client base including utility client and manage operations.

This position will be based in Canada.

Essential Job Responsibilities The following responsibilities are representative of the duties and accountabilities of this position but are not a complete and exhaustive list.

  • Expand key client and new targeted client base including utility clients
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budget.
  • Understand, develop and maintain project schedules, project management plans, project quality plans, and manage project staff to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Understand complex scheduling tools including earned value management and reporting processes.
  • Formulate / develop detailed project reports.
  • Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients, act as a single point of contact for one or more assigned clients.
  • Manage client interactions and negotiate / control job scope to client and the company's satisfaction.
  • Aggressively support marketing efforts, including identification of marketing opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up
  • Identifying and leading growth strategies of the business
  • Direct group business strategy to respond to changing markets
  • Coordinate with a teaming partner to grow the business.
  • Professional Engineering License in Canada Preferred
  • As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements :

  • BS in Engineering (Masters and / or MBA preferred)
  • 15+ years experience targeting, procuring and retaining clients within in the Canadian Nuclear industry.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated record of business success and growth
  • Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
