Oxford Learning Waterdown is currently accepting applications for the position of a PART-TIME EDUCATION COORDINATOR to assist in the planning and development of our primary / junior / intermediate programs.
We require a positive, outgoing and upbeat personality, a background in the Canadian Education system, top-notch communication skills and flexibility to work evenings and Saturday mornings .
In this position, you will work alongside the Education Director to coordinate the centre's daily operations from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 9 :
00 am and 8 :
00 pm as well as Saturday mornings between 9 :
00 am and 12 : 00 pm.

MUST HAVES for this role :
Post-secondary Bachelor’s Degree
Teaching or Tutoring experience and a passion for teaching
Customer Service Experience
Exceptional English language (written and oral) communication skills and an ability to communicate with parents effectively
An Ontario Driver’s license and a car
General Qualifications :
Highly organized and adaptable when new tasks unexpectedly arise
Able to think on your feet and improvise when needed
Have excellent organization, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
A team player who enjoys a challenge and working with others
Personable, friendly, outgoing, creative, confident and energetic
Comfortable on the phone
Confident in meeting with parents and school teachers in person
Must be flexible in availability
Strong computer skills
Be comfortable working with minimal supervision in an extremely fast-paced evening environment
Strong French language / additional language skills are an asset
Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset
Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to :
Answering phone and email inquiries
Fulfilling day to day and monthly administrative tasks
Learn to administer and interpret our dynamic cognitive and academic assessments
Designing academic programs for students
Evaluating student progress and growth with parents on a consistent basis
Teaching small groups on occasional evenings
Creating a fun and energetic learning environment in our centre every day
Making connections with parents, students, and new clients
Efficiently maintain accurate records
Take responsibility for managing the centre, including supervision of employees when the owner is absent
