Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is currently seeking a Compensation Consultant (six month contract) to focus on the redesign of our current hourly and salaried compensation programs.

The location of work is flexible, but the individual should be prepared to spend one week per month at site to work with stakeholders.
Reporting to the Human Resources (HR) Manager, the Compensation Consultant shall provide certain services with respect to the HR Department and Payroll Division of SSR Mining SGO to effect Saskatchewan-
specific HR and Compensation policies, processes and procedures overhaul. This is including, but not limited to, the following :
Consult closely with all Seabee Gold Operation staff, specifically area owners, HR staff and Finance staff both at site and in the Saskatoon regional office;
Interpreting current compensation-related policies and procedures, recommending and documenting to the HR Manager new or amended compensation-
related policies and procedures, all in line with industry best practices;
Review current compensation structure and utilize various compensation tools to develop a market competitive compensation grid for hourly and salaried employees;
Work closely with Training and all area owners to create documented alignment in developing and delivering the hourly pay scales based on training progression.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent will have the following education, knowledge and experience :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 7 years progressive generalist Human Resources experience with at least 5 years focused on compensation program design;
Strong HR technical expertise in all elements of compensation and total rewards including :
compensation program design concepts;
various forms, types and administration of equity based compensation; incentive program design, including those specific to operating sites.
Mining or related industry experience is an asset;
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and present findings effectively;
Good knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations;
Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office.
