What is the opportunity?

Are you interested in the opportunity to work as a Co-op Student within Brand & Communications? By applying to this job posting, you will be considered for multiple roles available across RBC!

What will you do?

  • Develop and update written material (Web content, reports, articles, presentations)
  • Prepare weekly / monthly / quarterly summary reports on media coverage and team activities
  • Administer and organize project files, articles, etc.
  • Assist with administering RBC's intranet (e.g., creating, updating and posting content)
  • Event coordination and execution
  • Book meetings and monitor calendars
  • Act as a partner to and liase with business partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline current processes
  • What do you need to succeed?


  • Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in marketing, communications or a related discipline
  • Currently enrolled in a recognized co-op program and eligible to complete a work term from January to April
  • Strong MS Office skills Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work effectively and reliably under pressure
  • Nice-to-have

  • Previous experience working in a corporate environment
  • Experience or understanding of creating and editing website content
  • Previous event planning experience
