The Church of the Holy Trinity seeks an individual to join the finance committee. This committee works in a team, led by Treasurer Marty Crowder.

It is supported by a staff administrator and a staff bookkeeper.


  • An accountant, bookkeeper or similar finance professional (current or retired)
  • Able to read financial statements, and be comfortable working with numbers

    Responsible, reliable, and community-oriented


  • Review quarterly financial statements, help to prepare the annual budget, assist with annual audit
  • Attend three meetings a year, plus a little extra work in January and February in closing the past year’s finances
  • Help to prepare statements and informations for the church’s AGM , which is called a Vestry Meeting.

    Participate in the successful running of a vibrant, justice-centred community at a high level

    Make friends and socialize with like-minded people

    Contribute towards the vitality of a Toronto community that stands for justice, compassion, and integrity

    OTHERREQUIREMENTS : -Volunteers in this position must be over the age of 18, and must complete a Criminal Record Check. Applicants with a criminal record are not automatically excluded from a ministry position.

    An individual with a criminal history may be accepted into a ministry position so long as the convictions are not related to the tasks of that position.

  • Volunteers must attend all training sessions as required, including Responsible Ministry, the Anglican Diocese of Toronto’s sexual misconduct training.
